NetEX and its team wish all friends, partners and customers
a Happy, Peaceful and Successful New Year 2012!!

On 1 January 2012, the new call for the 8th festival edition of
Cologne International Videoart Festival will be officially released.
The globalized world gets more and more structured in a totalitarian way
without any democratic controle. The festival motto
"Continental Drift" is representing a metaphore for really fatale developments.
CologneOFF is looking for experimental films and videos dealing
with human rights and related fields.
"CologneOFF VIII - Continental Drift" will be premiered
in September 2012 in the framework of
CologneOFF 2012 - videoart in a global context.

In 2012, the nomadic festival project
CologneOFF 2012 - videoart in a global context
will continue the tour around the globe in Belarus -
CologneOFF 2012 Belarus @
Cinema Perpetuum Mobile Festival Minsk - 16-18 January 2012 -
a tour which has started in January 2011 in the Netherlands.
31 screening and exhibitions events give evidence
of an usual success during the past year.

On 1 January 2012, the new online feature will be released
"Mexican Visions" - videoart from Mexico -
which is based on a common open call in collaboration with
Circuito Electrovisiones Mexico City.
The 2 screening programs resulting from this call were screened as
a world premiere on 14 & 15 November 2011 in the framework of
CologneOFF 2011 Mexico @ Media Fest CologneOFF 2011
@ UAM - Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana Xochimilco - Mexico City
